How to Get Around?
In case you haven’t booked accommodations within walking distance of Grand Shores, here are your options for getting around. We’re a rural community. Book your transportation services well in advance.
The Halifax public transit bus route ends in Porters Lake, 24 km west of Grand Shores.
“The MusGo Eastern Shore service goes as far east as DeBaies Cove and Ship Harbour, west as Lawrencetown and East Preston.
MusGo Valley-Sheet Harbour service area extends from West Ship Harbour to Ecum Secum and the Musquodoboit Valley.
All rides must be pre-booked by the closing of dispatch the day before your required ride. Deadheading fees may be charged.”
